SEE & DO

Corrieshalloch Gorge

Walk across the suspension bridge and watch the Droma River plummet 130ft into the gorge below.

Two minutes from the house.

Cuileig Falls

Cross  John Fowler's bridge at Lael and follow the river upstream to Cuileig Falls. The recently renovated paths climb up along the wild hillside.

North Coast 500

We're on the NC500. The drive south from Ullapool is spectacular on its own but follow it south to An Teallach or north to Coigach...

The Munros

Braemore Walled Garden
is a 10-minute drive
from the start of 4 trails.

Beinn Dearg
An Teallach
 The Fannichs

are easily accessible. Should you feel energetic, you can reach 14 Munros .

Beinn Dearg

The closest is Beinn Dearg. It rises 3500ft outside the back door.
The trail starts at Inverleal, follows the river up-stream and climbs into the wild.
Lael Forest Garden

Waterfalls, pine forest, deciduous trees, moss-covered stone walls, Lael Forest Garden has a timeless quality. Multiple trails are minutes away.

Ullapool

Nestled between mountains on the shores of the sea loch, Ullapool offers cafes, restaurants, bookshops, gift shops and the ferry to Stornaway.

Coigach

Ardmair Beach, Stach Pollaidh, The Dunes of Achnahaird drive through Coigah to the Summer Isles and see why it is often used as a film set.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

We are 10 miles (12 minutes) south of Ullapool along the beautiful NC500.

Not only is the drive worth is, but as you'll see when you arrive, so is the location!

A lovely stay in a home well worthy of its spectacular setting. Many thanks Jon & Sue!.
